After earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver in 2011, Mr. Volker dedicated his practice exclusively to litigation. He began his legal career clerking in the Denver District Court for the Honorable Michael Mullins and later the Honorable Brian Whitney, gaining valuable insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom procedure.
Seeking extensive trial experience, Mr. Volker joined the 17th Judicial District as a Deputy District Attorney. In that role, he tried more than 40 felony and misdemeanor cases before juries in Adams and Broomfield Counties, developing strong courtroom advocacy skills and a practical, results-driven approach to litigation.
In 2017, Mr. Volker returned to civil litigation, joining Dagner | Schluter | Mitzner | Werber LLC as an associate attorney. His practice focuses on tort and insurance defense, with an emphasis on personal injury, premises liability, and product liability matters. He manages cases through every stage of litigation—from pre-suit evaluation through trial and appeal—and has successfully first-chaired multiple trials to favorable verdicts on behalf of his clients.
In recognition of his experience and results, Mr. Volker was named a partner in 2024 and became a shareholder in 2026.
